Dear Joe, Karina, Kira and Amelia, We just want to thank you so much for looking after Aussie so well. She couldnt have possibly had a better time or been any better looked after and cared for........a real home from home. She love all the loving care and attention you gave her and she loved being able to play with your other 'boarders'and to feel a real part of the family. I just wanted to let you know what a success your recall training of Aussie has been. She is now the model dog. I can take her on lake walks, woodland walks etc whatever and she never needs to go on the lead as she always comes back when I blow the whistle you gave me. We are now both so happy on our walks. Now we feel quite happy about going away again now that we know we can let Aussie stay with you at The Puppy Dog Hotel. Thank you so much. Alan & Liz

16th March 2011 My dog is part of the family and I hate going away and leaving her.  However, when I  do go away I'm relaxed and able to enjoy my holiday, as I know she is happy and well looked after by her friends at the PDH!  No other dog border even comes close - I highly recommend them! Sam.

8^th September 2010 Dear Joe and Karina, I just wanted to thank you all once again for taking such wonderful care of Rosie and for making her stay with you so special.  I can’t tell you how great it is to be able to go away on holiday knowing that she is with such a loving and caring family who will love her like we do. We so enjoyed watching the DVD, how lovely to see our Rosie so happy with you.  Our vet was also very impressed with the report she received from you introducing yourselves and explaining that Rosie would be with you whilst we were away.  She did comment on how professional that was and wished more people could be like that. 25th March 2010 The Puppy Dog Hotel is a fantastic find and we cannot recommend it highly enough.  We are posting this after Alfie's second stay and once again he has come home a better trained dog.  Joe, Karina and family are extremely knowledgeable and it is wonderful to be able to go on holiday with the peace of mind that Alfie is 100% happy and looked after.   We simply would not leave him with anyone else. 10th March 2010 Dear Joe and Karina, First of all, thank you for spending so much of Sunday with us, you are a magician!  We learned more in one session than all the weekly puppy training classes put together and are now endeavouring to put all the training into place.  So far so good, Cassie is so much better on the lead and is responding well to 'sit' and 'wait' especially around feeding times and going out in the garden.  The sofa and hall and running upstairs will need more work!  Our Joe is much better with Cassie too, he's been feeding her in the evenings, has brushed her (under supervision) and they've been playing together in the garden. 9th March 2010  Hi guys, Just wanted to say a big 'thank you' for looking after my gorgeous girl so well the past few weeks.  It was so nice to be away from her and know that she was being well looked after and having fun!  I am totally obsessed with her and I missed her so, so much.  I read your report and it makes me so happy and proud to hear that you also have a great fondness for her : ) So I'm hoping that from Wednesday onwards we shall all have restful nights (without the jet lag)!!! I will call you in the next few days to book up some holiday dates and some more training.  I am so pleased that the nipping and mouthing has completely stopped - thank you.  Her recall has also been brilliant these past few days - I shall continuing working on it !  The ball throwing needs some working on though !!! My only complaint is that you are too fully booked all the time : ( Thanks once again Sam, Philip and Georgia. PS - Her coat looked amazing - what conditioner do you use?

30th October 2009 What can we say? Professional, pragmatic, extraordinarily loving and caring; Diggen truly was in heaven whilst in your care. You made our holiday so much more enjoyable as we were able to relax in the knowledge that Diggen was in safe hands.  The video footage was an added bonus.  Someone was certainly looking down on us when we found The Puppy Dog Hotel.  Thank you.  Jan, Andrew and Diggen x

27th September 2009 Dear Karina, Joe, Kira and Amelia, I wanted to write a note of thanks to you all for looking after Miley over the last week. We have been extremely lucky to find such a wonderful family to leave our beloved Miley with. As you know, I missed Miley very much and was not sure about being without him for a whole week, but after seeing the videos that you posted on YouTube of Miley and his friends having such a wonderful time, it put my mind at ease. He seems to have had such a lovely time at the puppy dog hotel that I almost felt guilty about bringing him home! We loved reading his report sheet about his daily activities and the advice given on his general care was very useful and will be of great help. I also want to say how well behaved and calm he has been since he has been back. I have been keeping up your good work with the whistle, as I noticed that he comes back when I blow the whistle and sits down right in front of me! His lead work has also improved and he doesn't even pull me up to the park anymore. All in all Miley has come back a very contented dog, who is much more settled and not worried about where I am at every minute of the day. This is great. Finally, thanks to Joe for the fantastic pictures he has taken. The service you provide is excellent and so much more than we expected. I would highly recommend the puppy dog hotel and I simply would not leave Miley with anyone else. I look forward to booking Miley in again in the very near future. 4 August 2009 Hi Karina, Just a note to say thank you once again for looking after Merlin, it was so nice to read his ‘’report’’ and see his DVD and to know that he is such good hands. We just wouldn’t even consider leaving him with anyone else whilst we were away – it is so nice to feel reassured that he is getting lots of love and attention and having just as good a holiday as we are !! He was a bit sulky on Sunday when he got back, after leaving Molly but is fine now. I have got a cheque ready to post to you for the deposit for next year – no idea where we are going but would rather make sure we get you before you are booked up !!!! 30 June 2009 Having been very anxious about leaving my 1year old dog for the first time I was absoulutely thrilled with the care and attention she recieved by people who clearly love animals and are not just out for making money. I also learnt a huge amount from Joe who was able to read Ginny like a book! She was happy and relaxed when I came back from holiday. I would not hesitate to use their service again. the car with Joe, and he came back looking all shiny coated, happy and healthy, and he behaved very well after returning. I think Miley likes

14 April 2009 Dear Karina, Joe & Amelia, Thank you so much for looking after Charlie and Molly with such care last week. Especially with all the medication that poor old Charlie is on! They certainly looked a picture of health when I picked them up and very happy, not sure they really wanted to come home. Molly is definitely missing her playmate Herbie. 26 January 2009 Leaving our Labrador puppy, Jimmy Choo, with anyone, was for me just as serious as finding the right kind of babysitter for our children. Obviously not just anyone will do! Karina and Joe run a superb establishment, probably better care than in your own home! 12 January 2009 Dear Karina, Joe, Kira and Amelia, Thank you so much for taking such good care of Barley over the past few months, from her first 2-week stay in the summer at just 3 months old and all the day care since then.  We were able to really enjoy our holiday knowing Barley was being looked after so well at such a crucial time in her life and having such a good time.  It’s great to see how happy she always is to see you on return visits. Many thanks also for all the training tips and support, which have been invaluable.  We are very grateful for your very responsible approach to dog care and training, always making the effort to do the right thing, with the result that Barley’s behaviour has remained consistently good throughout the time she’s been coming to stay with you.  Barley’s always thrilled to arrive at your house and is never in a hurry to leave you when we pick up.  Her stays with you obviously make her happy, which we appreciate very much, particularly given you give her such a good time whilst reinforcing all the right behaviour.  What more could we ask for! 16 December 2008 Dear Karina, Joe, Kira and Amelia, We are so glad to have found the Puppy Dog Hotel after an extensive search for the right place to care for Jaz while we are on holiday. The week of training that Jaz recently received with you has made a real difference to us all and it was clear that in addition Jaz enjoyed the loving care given by the whole family. As important the time you spent to ensure that we could continue using the same training methods at home and sharing your skills and expertise to give us an understanding of Jaz’s behaviour and the appropriate actions to take. The written notes have been very helpful. 7 October 2008 I wanted to thank you for taking such loving care of Miller while we were away, and for all the training and training tips. He is doing very well although I must try and book in a few sessions to try and keep up your good work. I have cancelled all the other training he was booked to do as we just seemed to be confusing him and to be truthful it wasn’t doing any good and costing a fortune. I hope you don’t mind but I have given your number to a friend of ours, although your probably overwhelmed already I said he should give you a ring if he wanted the best! 4 August 2008 Dear Karina and Joe, I just wanted to say thank you SO much for looking after Merlin last week – I could not have wished for him to be with a nicer family as yours. It was so lovely to read his ‘’report’’ and hear what he had been doing each day and the DVD was great. I think he is missing his friends, Barley etc – it was so nice for him to be able to play with lots of other dogs because he just loves playing with other dogs as you know.  If you ever wish to pass my details on to anyone for references etc please do, as I will be happy to recommend you. It is so nice to be able to go away and know that he is being loved and looked after so well. He had an absolute ball !!! Once again – a HUGE thank you for looking after him and also the training you did with him – I bought a whistle on Sunday and we have used it and he has been great. 30 July 2008 Delighted and amazed with the progress in two days.  We were given a comprehensive report of the day (&night!) and the training.  Came away with very helpful advice and a training dvd featuring our puppies!

27 July 2008 Thank you Karina and family for the wonderful care you gave to Loius my 5 month old puppy.During his stay the family helped Louis build his confidence and socialise with larger dogs. Everyday they complete a health check which fortunatly for Louis spotted an ear infection that was causing him some discomfort and quickly dealt with the minor infection. Their knowledge and care is wonderful, Caroline Kalha

20 July 2008 We went away for a few days with no one to look after our puppy husky called Marley. As you can imagine being a puppy and leaving him was going to be hard for us. Karina and her family had Marley for a few days. I am extremely happy with the care that he was given and definately will be asking them again in the future im surprised he even wanted to come home. They also sent a dvd . carol reed

28 May 2008 Thank you, Karina, Joe and family, for looking after Oscar and Toby so well. They returned to us sleek, happy and much better behaved than when we left them! Oscar is now much calmer, and has stopped the habit of scratching at visitors, which made him unpopular. The change is amazing! Toby's tail has not stopped wagging, and her obviously had a super holiday. I highly recommend Karina to all. Val Knight

7 March 2008 Dear Karina and family. Thank you so much for looking after our puppy Lola, while we were away over half term. We were worried leaving her at such a young age, but you did a fantastic job. All my concerns mentioned to you when we left her have now been dealt with, with your expertise and great advice. We have not had one 'accident' since collecting her over two weeks ago so I think you cracked this for us! As well as generally training her, especially with her recall out in the park I can now confidently let her off the lead and know she will come back to us. She now sits and lies beautifully using only hand signals....Everyone around me is truly impressed! Your whole family have a fantastic way and know how with dogs. Thank you especially to your daughter Amelia for keeping my daughter updated with text messages with her progress during our holiday, this was very much appreciated.
