Charity Donations The Puppy Dog Hotel is about to make a regular monthly donation to several Dog and Animal Charities, if you would like to propose a dog/animal charity for consideration please contact us with the details. CHARITY SUGGESTION Have you considered helping a charity yourself? Many of these organisations do a simply wonderful job often without reward or thanks, they receive no financial government help and as a result work extremely hard trying to generate funds to help all types of animals. Please consider making a donation, however small to a local or favourite dog/animal charity. Thank you. New Addition. We are pleased to announce that we can now offer our clients the ultimate in pet transport with our Mercedes E-Class Estate which has been fitted with Luxury Climate Control which features individual zonal jets to the front, middle and rear. Luxury Air Conditioning and Luxury Comfort Seats all of which add to an exceptionally smooth and comfortable journey. Elderly and unwell pets may well find this extremely high level of comfort of particular benefit to them. In addition the car is fitted with numerous modern safety features which could help protect your pet in the unfortunate event of an accident. The rear floor has also been fitted with an anti-slip rubber mat for those clients who wish their dog or puppy to travel in the rear section of the car. Dogs using the rear seats will of course be fitted with a safety harness. We offer a comprehensive service for Dogs, Puppies and ALL domestic pets, we can collect and deliver anywhere within the UK Mainland. Give your pet the service and luxurious comfort you would expect yourself. This service normally requires advanced booking, but if you require an urgent collection or delivery it’s always worth a phone call to check availability.
Of course our standard pet taxi service is still available for clients who are working within a limited budget; your pet will still receive the highest level of care and consideration you have come to expect from the Puppy Dog Hotel.
Many clients find our collection and delivery service a useful addition that helps manage the busy schedules and lives they may have. Our collection and delivery service is also available to those clients who may be relocating their home and wish to have some normality present at the new home before their dog or puppy arrives.
Journeys are calculated on a round trip mileage from the Puppy Dog Hotel and returning back to the Puppy Dog Hotel. If you wish to obtain a quote please have the pick up and delivery point postcodes available when you call.
Of course as you would expect from the Puppy Dog Hotel we are fully insured to transport your dogs, puppies and pets. Emergency First Aid Course Karina and Amelia have recently attended and completed an Emergency First Aid course for Dogs at the Berkshire College of Agriculture. This involves such issues as Resuscitation, Road Traffic Accidents, Fractures, Wound dressing, and Choking etc. All though we hope we never need to use these skills it is obviously beneficial to know how to do so correctly should the need arise. Other members of staff will be taking the course later in the year when the college run the course again.
Christmas & New year bookings. Please note we currently have partial bookings for the Christmas and New year periods up to and including 2012, spaces are now already very limited. If you wish to be notified of any future cancellations or availability please register your dates and interest. We DO NOT offer any day care between the 22nd December and 3rd January inclusive.
Puppy Dog Hotel Shop. We have now decided to remove the few items for sale on this website early in 2010 and have invested in a safe e-commerce online shop which will enable you to purchase securely via paypal. This will allow us to offer many more items across a whole range of pet’s products suitable for Dogs & Puppies, Cat & Kittens, Birds, Small Mammals & Fish, the ease of searching for products will be much easier for our customers. This new shop will go live early in 2010 and new items will be added throughout the year. We have already reached agreement with many leading pet suppliers to sell their entire range of pet products. You would also expect the Puppy Dog Hotel the UK’s leading home boarding to also offer a selection of very high quality top of the range products; again we have agreements in place to sell from suppliers of both top quality and luxury pet items. We will also be offering clients whose dog’s board with us for at least one week a special shop discount for their dog(s).
Kids be a trainer for a day! Following some research and several clients request we are considering offering a LIMITED number of places to become a dog/puppy trainer for the day! This will initially be aimed at Children aged between 7 & 16 years of age and will involve learning how to do a basic health check on a dog/puppy, how to care and groom a dog/puppy and of course how to train a dog/puppy basic commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Walk to Heel and Recall. Each Child will also go on a local walk and be given the opportunity to put the commands into practice. Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the day. At the end of this great fun day each child will be provided a Certificate stating they have had a day’s training course at The Puppy Dog Hotel, a photo with the dog/puppy they have been training and their own professional dog training whistle with an exclusive Puppy Dog Hotel lanyard and note pad. New e–mail help service.
We will shortly be launching our new e-mail help service to cover all aspects of dog and puppy care, this will of course include training methods as used at the Puppy Dog Hotel and advice on how to tackle all kinds of behavioural problems. This service will allow you to send details of your general query, training or behaviour advice required by e-mail. We will give a full written reply and/or telephone you for up to 30 minutes (Landlines only) at no additional charge to discuss/advise you accordingly. This new e-mail service will be up and running during February 2010 and will not affect our current 1 to 1 telephone and advice help line which is already operational.
